Meet Mac! <br/><br/>Mac came to our rescue after being found on a stranger's porch. He was weak, emaciated, his body showing the scars of a previous life where love was scarce. <br/><br/>But thanks to the dedication of his foster, Mac is now thriving! He's put on weight, he's regained his strength, and those wounds - both emotional and physical - are now healing. He's gotten a clean bill of health for a 7 year old! <br/><br/>After a life starved of love & affection, Mac now craves it. He loves love! His whole being lights up when a hand stretches out to pet him. Mac loves people of all sizes & ages! He's also living harmoniously in a foster home with other dogs.<br/><br/>Mac doesn't need much - a short daily walk & a couch to cuddle on. After a lifetime of waiting, Mac is ready to settle into a home where he is truly cherished. Furry Tales Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adopters must be 21+ years old. ALL members of the household must agree on the adoption. We do NOT allow adoptions to be surprises for others. Out of state adoptions are ALLOWED. We currently adopt to homes located in PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, WV, OH, CT, NH and NY. At this time we do not adopt out to homes who are over ~200-250 miles from Blue Bell, PA 19422, but may make exceptions on a case by case basis. Potential adopters must submit an initial application that will be followed up by a phone interview and home check. We call two personal non-family references that are to be listed on the application. If there are any current pets in the home we will call your veterinarian as well to ensure all pets are up to date on state required vaccines and are spayed/neutered (if applicable). If all goes well we have a detailed adoption contract that must be thoroughly read, completed, and signed by the adopter. Our process tends to move fairly QUICKLY and adoption can be as quick as just a few hours after submitting an application up to a week or more. We do NOT hold pets.
