MABRY's Story

Meet Marbry (A565764); this sweet girl is new to our adoption area but ready for a new family all the same. Marbry arrived as a stray dog with no known owner, so our information regarding her past is pretty limited. At the shelter she can come off as timid in her kennel, as she won't be the type of shelter pup to immediately greet you at the kennel gate, but just a little patience goes a long way with Marbry. If you kneel down and toss her a few treats, you have practically made a brand new best friend in a matter of minutes! One of the best things about Marbry is her size. While pictures don't really do her justice, Marbry is a nice medium-sized girl. She would be perfect for someone who cannot handle a larger breed or that simply has a smaller space to keep in mind when adopting her. As sweet as she is, she knows the art of patience as well and is relatively calm. She is not the type of dog to greet you by climbing up your body. Marbry greets nicely and politely with a tail that has the potential to get speeding tickets once you have shown her a little affection! Marbry has been tested with a male dog whom she did well with. What we learned from this experience is that Marbry is not really one for playing with others, but she doesn't mind sharing her space with them. She can be shy in initial introductions, but with a little space and time she warms up just fine. Marbry would probably do well in a home with another laid-back dog that matches her energy level. ?? Marbry has only been here for a few days, but she is excited and ready to find a family that will love her for the rest of her days. Please stop in and meet her today! Marbry is guesstimated to be 4 years old and weighs 35 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Marbry? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find her in kennel D7. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
