MABELLINE's Story
✨ ADOPTABLE MABELLINE ✨

Mabelline is a tiny 4-year-old, 6 lb terrier mix, spayed female with a big spirit and an even bigger heart. This little survivor was rescued from the streets of Los Angeles, where she bravely navigated life on her own—dodging traffic, avoiding wildlife, and holding her ground among other stray dogs.
Since arriving in Canada, Mabelline has already begun to blossom. Though she came in feeling understandably scared, it took less than a week for her loving, sassy personality to shine through—and her little diva side is starting to emerge. She’s a sweet girl with a bit of spark, and it’s clear she’s ready to leave her tough past behind and embrace the good life.
Mabelline is doing excellent with her house training if she is taken out regularly, she will also use pee pads. She settles nicely in her crate at night and absolutely loves her treats. She walks beautifully on leash, making her a great little companion for daily strolls. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and while she currently prefers women, she’s steadily gaining confidence and learning to trust men too. Another calm, well-balanced dog in the home would be a great match for her to help build her confidence. She may whine when left alone, so she’ll benefit from having someone that is only gone for short time periods so she can continue to build her confidence and help her feel secure.
Because of her small size and the fact that she’s still a bit timid, we recommend an adult-only home or a home with older children who will respect her boundaries while she learns to accept all the love and attention she’s been missing for so long.
This resilient little dog is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished—exactly as she deserves
