While she's still a little timid around new people and unfamiliar places, her confidence is growing every day. Majel is the softest, floppiest, quirkiest girl you'll ever meet. Her goofy expressions and wiggly butt are guaranteed to make you smile, and her happy tail is always wagging.<br/><br/>She can be a little shy at first but she warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate cuddle bug who simply wants to be close to her people. She is a quick learner and has already mastered "sit" and "wait." She has great manners, takes her treats very gently, and doesn't jump, no matter how excited she is to see you. Majel is curious, yet gentle with cats, and seems to be a little cat-like herself. To set her up for long-term success, Majel is looking for a home without other female dogs. Male dogs would need a meet-and-greet first, though she has done well with other dogs in the past. This precaution is simply to ensure the best fit for everyone. Majel is the kind of dog who sneaks into your heart before you even realize it. She is such an easy girl to fall in love with. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
