Mabel

We know...we're a cat rescue, but Mabel is a special situation, and a very special dog! Mabel is being fostered by one of our own fosters - because she LOVES cats and kittens!!!<br/><br/>Mabel is about 5 yrs old and an absolute velcro dog!! She wants nothing more than to love and be loved!! She thinks she is a lap dog, even at 59 pounds. She will get as close into your chest as she can, just to be close to her person. Mabel is working on losing the 7 pounds she gained while going through Heartworm treatment. HA HA. She is super healthy and has gotten the all clear from the vet. <br/>Mabel also LOVES kittens and cats!! We would love to see her in a home with a dog-friendly cat. She likes dogs, but prefers people. She loves to play fetch and RUN!! Loves to run!! While Mabel is good with kids, she doesn't seem to know her own wiggliness and could accidentally knock over small children. We recommend kids over 8, unless younger ones are properly supervised.<br/>She would do great with someone, or a couple, that is either home more often than not, or can take her on adventures with them. She currently goes to daycare 2x week.<br/><br/>Mabel is spayed, current on vaccines and preventative and microchipped. Fostered in Florida, she is available for transport to most of the midwest and eastern US.
