Meet Mabel
Hi! My name is Megan and I am currently seeking a loving home for my one-year-old dog, Mabel. She is only 27 lbs. I am expecting a baby boy in March and unfortunately my boyfriend has severe allergies, we unfortunately cannot keep her with us any longer. I’m heartbroken to have to make this decision, but we know it is in the best interest of both our growing family and Mabel.
I adopted Mabel as a puppy from Rover Rescue and she quickly became my best friend. She has always been friendly, affectionate, and full of energy. As a puppy, she was introduced to cats and showed no signs of aggression or fear towards them. However, in the last 6 months she has not been around cats and I’m unsure of her current behavior around them. Mabel would do best in a home with kids over 12 years old because she does bark at younger kids but has done fine with kids 12 and older.
Mabel loves to play, go for walks, and cuddle up at the end of the night. She is intelligent, eager to please, and has been trained in basic commands. (very treat motivated!) She is also house-trained and has been well-socialized with other dogs. She goes to Dogtopia 2 days a week to play with her friends.
Mabel is up to date on all her vaccinations and has been regularly checked by a veterinarian. I’m looking for a loving and responsible home for Mabel, where she will receive the attention, care, and exercise she needs. With proper introductions and care I’m positive Mabel will adapt to a new home quickly. If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.
Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming
