Star bright. The first star we see tonight is... Lyra Starstruck! Born to Sweetie Momma Starstruck right here in New England, the STARSTRUCK litter are 6-week-old (born 8/21/26) Plott Hound mixes that weigh approx. 5-7 pounds. They can't wait to add a little razzle dazzle to your everyday!

Lyra is the oldest of the puppies and is a girl full of spunk and life! She lights up (pun intended) every room she enters, and her happy spirit is contagious. Call the doctor now! She loves her toys almost as much as she loves her siblings (though that's debatable). Lyra is curious and likes to check everything out, but she also has the calm to sit back and watch her siblings play.

The Starstrucks are brand-new to everything! While they get along with each other, introductions to cats and children is hopefully in their future. They'll rely on you for puppy training, but you'll rely on them for identifying the constellations in the sky. What a fair trade-off!

Shine bright, shine far, don't be shy. Be a star with the Starstruck pups today!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Lyra Starstruck, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $650] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
