She is now in a foster home.<br/><br/>Foster Update: Lyra is a little bitty cutie patootie! You can not look at her without smiling. Weighing in at 8 lbs she's filled with all things pure and sweet! She's acclimating great to home life and is getting more comfortable every day. She will still get startled at loud noises or unexpected movements that may cause her to jump or run to another area but in a world of what seems to be giants when you're so small, she prefers to be where the action is. She's not currently a lap dog but she is learning that she loves belly rubs, butt rubs and scratches behind the ear so she might also learn that she likes to snuggle, tbd! <br/><br/>House-training- Coming from a breeding farm in Alabama, she wasn't happy with the bitter freezing temperatures so we started training on a pee pad inside. After a few days she had it mastered! With the warmer weather, we've transitioned to regular potty breaks outside. She always goes potty outside and now rarely uses the potty mat inside. <br/><br/>Treats- Lyra loves treats and will take them from your hand<br/><br/>Toys- She has little interest in toys but does like them better if they have a treat inside!<br/><br/>Other dogs- She is currently fostered with 1 small dog. I think she likes the companionship, they stick together about 85% of the day. She is also fostered with 2 medium/large dogs that she is very comfortable with but doesn't spend as much time with them.<br/><br/>Fenced in Yard- she will need a fenced in yard<br/><br/>Children- Since she is still skittish and not looking to be overly handled, younger children could be stressful for her<br/><br/>See more on her facebook page: Lake Life Foster Friends<br/><br/>Fostered in West Bend.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $650<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net<br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age.
