Lylah's Story

**you must submit an application to be contacted. We do not care how much she weighs or her size at adulthood. She is a yorkie, therefore small. To us, she was simply a dog worth saving.

Hi! My name is Lylah! I was relinquished to the vet at 8 weeks old after I got really sick when purchased by some really young people who could not afford my vet care. Initally the vets thought I would have to have surgery, but after many tests, it was determined I most likely “got into something.” I spent some extra time with MVPC so they could make sure I don’t have any lingering issues. I am finally ready to find a family of my own! I am a spunky, happy girl and love to play with any and all dogs, people and cats! I need another dog in my new home so I have a playmate (my best friends are a few rescue pit bulls six times my size!)! I like kids, but due to my size, need a home with kids 12 or over! A true terrier, I am extremely feisty and have no fear. Housetrainjng is going well, but you must be consistent.

I AM NOW READY FOR PREAPPROVAL! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $400 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

ADOPTION FEE: $400 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)
ADOPTER: Another dog
FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment)
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Yes
CHILDREN: 12 and over due to my size

INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. We also do not care how much she weighs. If you do, we are not the rescue for you, especially since her best friend is a pit bull.

DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those.

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your
