Lya is a lovable, sweet girl who quickly steals hearts with her gentle nature. She may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon shows just how affectionate she truly is. Once she feels comfortable, Lya loves nothing more than being close to her person, happily cuddling up and soaking in attention.<br/><br/>She does wonderfully with children and enjoys playing with other dogs, showing a respectful and thoughtful approach to her canine friends. Lya is playful while still being mindful of boundaries, making her an easy companion for other pets.<br/><br/>She already knows how to sit and is currently working on potty training. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
