Lux's foster family reports, "Lux is a is a sweet, shy, reserved older boy, who is learning the house rules and enjoying having his own bed and space. He gets along with our other dogs big and small. He has a high prey drive, which means he's not good with cats or other small animals. While he does well with other dogs, he doesn't interact with them much right now. He doesn't initiate play and tends to just ignore them. He hasn't shown himself to be high energy and does well with people. He's adjusting to life as an inside dog, since the family he came from kept him as an outdoor, backyard dog. He is looking for a home with no small animals. He wags his little nub at us and is content to lay on his bed and relax. He doesn't get as much time out in his foster home as we'd like, since he isn't good with the cats in the home and has to be kept separate from them. They MUST sleep inside the home. It is our MISSION to place them in a home that is a great fit for their needs for a lifetime of luv & being part of a family.<br/><br/>*We will consider adoptions in any area; however, will do not ship or transport a puppy under the age of 12 mos. We will ONLY transport an adult dog on a transport approved by MLD, at adopter's expense.<br/><br/>Please note that all of our pets are in private foster homes. In order to reduce any stress or confusion for our pups, we require a completed, approved application BEFORE setting up a meeting for any of fur-babies.
