Luna Shepherd German Shepherd Dog Chambersburg, PA

Luna Shepherd was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is around 4 years old and currently weighs 52 pounds. When she arrived at the shelter Luna was underweight and has been steadily gaining weight since her arrival. Luna did live with another dog in the home; however, Luna will need to be fed separately from other dogs (or be the only dog in the home) as it was noted by her previous owner that she was possessive over food with the other dog in the home. True to her breed Luna does need some time to trust new people and can be aloof at first but is willing to meet them for treats! She is a smart girl and knows sit, and down. She is very treat motivated and wants to please her people so she may easily learn other commands! She is a very loyal girl and will be with you where ever you go! It is highly recommended that potential adopters have German Shepherd experience. Luna does chase cats, so a home without them would be best. Luna has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested, and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
