LUNA - in NY & ready for a meet & greet's Story

Meet LUNA!

Luna is 15 lbs and 3.5/4 months old as of 6/23/26.

**She is currently being fostered in upstate NY, however, we are willing to arrange transportation for adoption to the NYC & Philadelphia areas!**

We cansay enough amazing things about Luna! She is really what you imagine when you think about a happy puppy - playful, sweet, cuddly, loving. And to boot, she is extremely well-behaved and can entertain herself with her toys!

She is great with other dogs! She was fostered with a pittie mix in Puerto Rico before flying over to NY and they get along splendidly. Please ask us for videos; we have several of them romping around together! She is now being fostered with 2 other adult larger dogs and does equally well.

Energy-wise, for a puppy, she is in the middle. Not go crazy but definitely has that happy puppy energy.

We think she would be absolutely fine with children and cats given her sweet personality! Now is the perfect time for introductions!

She is doing great with house training. Currently, she sleeps in an x-pen with wee wee pads and will go on those if need be but will also do her business outside.

Her story: Luna was rescued by a kind vacationer who happened upon her as a stray during her stay in Puerto Rico. The woman brought her to the vet and quickly was able to find a (seemingly perfect) home for her while she was there; however, the home was not what she expected. This person ended up contacting the woman soon after she left PR to tell her he actually didn't want her anymore and would abandon her. The woman reached out to us for help and we were able to find a flyer to bring her to her in NY! She is now being fostered with her rescuer and is ready for a meet and greet with any adopter! We know she will find the permenant loving home she deserves!

Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! See below for application info.

APPLY TO ADOPT HERE:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FDZ/Dog

For more information on our organization, please visit: https://www.flydogzpr.org/

Instagram: @flydogz_pr AND @flydogzpr_adopt

Any questions, please do not hesitate to email: flydogzpradoptions@gmail.com
________________________________________________________________________________
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
