Meet Luna

Luna is a 7-year-old, 14-pound Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home in San Diego.

This sweet girl is the perfect combination of companionship and easy-going charm. Luna loves being with her people and forms especially strong bonds with the men in her life, but shes happy to make friends with everyone willing to earn her trust.

Luna is fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready to start her next chapter. She rides beautifully in the car, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys getting out and about without reacting to people or other dogs. Shes also very social with other dogs and has even done well with a neighborhood cat who regularly visits her foster home.

Like many companion dogs, Luna enjoys being the center of attention and can occasionally get a little pushy when competing for affection with other dogs. She may do best with an adopter who can provide structure and continue helping her practice polite manners. Her foster reports no concerns about aggression.

Luna would thrive with someone looking for a loyal sidekick to join them on daily adventures, road trips, neighborhood walks, and cozy nights at home.

If youre looking for a loving companion who still has plenty of life and personality ahead of her, Luna may be your perfect match.

To apply to adopt Luna:
homeboundhounds.org/adopt
