Meet Luna & Nyx Double the Aussies, Double the Love! <br/><br/>Why have one amazing Aussie when you can have two? Meet Luna and Nyx, a bonded pair of five-year-old Mini (Luna) and Toy (Nyx) Australian Shepherds looking for a forever home together! These two have spent their entire lives side by side and are ready to bring twice the fun, twice the cuddles, and twice the smiles to one lucky family.<br/><br/>Luna, the beautiful 25-pound black tri Mini Aussie, is the more thoughtful of the pair. She may hang back for a minute when meeting someone new, but it doesn't take long before she's asking for pets and showing off her sweet side. She's also the resident "hall monitor" and may try to gently herd heavy-footed people with a little heel nip—it's the Aussie in her! Once she settles in, she's all love. Just one small quirk: Luna loves water so much she'll drink too fast, so her water intake simply needs to be paced.<br/><br/>Nyx, the adorable 15-pound blue merle Toy Aussie, has never met a stranger she didn't love. She's a social butterfly who will happily roll over for belly rubs, soak up all the attention, shower you with kisses, and charm everyone she meets. As a puppy, she broke her back leg after an unfortunate tumble off a bed, so she has a rod in her leg, but it doesn't slow her down one bit!<br/><br/>These girls are wonderful family companions. They've helped raise a three-year-old child and are gentle and respectful with kids. They're also fantastic with cats—in fact, they play together, nap together, and even share their food without a second thought. Resource guarding? Not these girls! Toys, food, people...everyone is welcome to join the fun.<br/><br/>Luna and Nyx are both potty trained, crate trained and have excellent house manners. They sleep quietly in their crates at night, relax there when their family is away, and enjoy having free run of the house when everyone's home. They travel beautifully in their crates for road trips, making them great adventure buddies.<br/><br/>When playtime rolls around, squeaky toys, ropes, stuffed animals, and a good game in the backyard are at the top of their list. They love splashing in the water and chasing squirrels, but they politely ignore cars and bicycles. Both girls know "sit" and "stay," are very food motivated, and are eager to keep learning. They have medium energy levels, enjoy spending a few hours outside each day, and only pull a little on leash walks.<br/><br/>Because Luna has a bit of a wanderer's spirit, a securely fenced yard is preferred. Together they have good recall around the yard and are happiest when they have space to stretch their legs.<br/><br/>Monthly grooming appointments? No problem. Vet visits? Easy peasy. These girls are seasoned pros who handle both with grace.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a pair of loyal companions who balance each other perfectly—one outgoing social butterfly and one sweet, loyal shadow—Luna and Nyx may be exactly who you've been waiting for.
