Jasmine and Luna are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together into the same home. Their owner from NE Iowa went to a nursing home and no one in the family could keep them. So they are now Waverly Pet Rescue dogs and living in a foster home. They are both spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, de-wormed, and heart worm negative.

Jasmine is about 6-7 years old, she is the terrier looking dog. Luna is about 10-11 years old and she is the small lab mix. Both dogs are medium sized dogs approximately 40-45 pounds. They are VERY bonded, and cry when they are separated. They seem to really depend on each other. They are very good with other dogs and with cats. Potty trained, well behaved in a kennel. They both walk nice on leash. Both dogs like to play with each other and with a ball. They are super sweet girls. We are hoping the right home falls in love and gives them a forever home.

Adoption fee for Jasmine and Luna: $200.00 for both dogs.

WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $350 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
