This little girl is incredibly sweet and affectionate and loves being close to her people. She has a gentle, loving personality and is always happy to soak up attention and affection.<br/><br/>Luna is currently living in a foster home with other small dogs and cats and interacts nicely with everyone. She would be a great fit for a home with other friendly pets or one where she can enjoy being the center of attention.<br/><br/>Luna has a beautiful, incredibly soft coat that adds to her scruffy charm. Potential adopters should be prepared for the upkeep that comes with it — she will need frequent brushing and regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and free of mats.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a small, affectionate companion who gets along nicely with both dogs and cats, Luna may be your girl.<br/><br/>Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)<br/><br/>You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® Heartworm Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.<br/><br/>Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.<br/><br/>Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.<br/><br/>Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ **<br/><br/>- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -<br/><br/>SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.<br/><br/>Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.<br/><br/>Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.<br/><br/>All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.<br/><br/>We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.
