Luna's Story

Luna is a beautiful young girl who is finally getting the chance to enjoy being a carefree puppy! Born on 09/04/2024, this sweet girl has already been through a lot in her short life. After lovingly raising a litter of puppies when she was surrendered, Luna is now ready to find a forever home where she can be the one getting all the love and attention she deserves.

Luna is house trained and crate trained, making her a great addition to a home ready for a young, active pup. She has been wonderful with children and truly enjoys being around them. Luna also does great with other dogs and has lived in a home with multiple canine companions. While she doesn’t typically initiate any conflict, slow and proper introductions are always recommended—especially with selective dogs. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

Luna has a fun and playful personality! She has recently discovered her love for playing fetch and enjoys staying active with walks and playtime. She is a loving family dog who thrives on companionship and being part of the action.

Like many young Huskies, Luna can get bored if left to her own devices for too long. When that happens, she may dig or chew to entertain herself. Because of this, continued crate training is highly recommended for times when she’ll be left alone. She’s doing great learning that her crate is a safe and comfortable space! She is considered house trained, but like most dogs, she will need her cues to go outside to be noticed—otherwise, she may have an occasional accident.

Luna would do best in a home that can provide her with time, attention, and continued guidance. A securely fenced yard is strongly encouraged, as she may try to find an escape route if she becomes bored—especially if the fence isn’t secure at the bottom.

Her perfect home would be one filled with love, patience, and an active lifestyle. Whether it’s a family with kids, a home with other dogs, or a dedicated owner who has the time to spend with her—Luna is ready to be a loyal and fun-loving companion.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup to add to your family, Luna might just be your perfect match!

Luna is in a foster home located in Westland, MI,

Interested in adopting?
Please complete and submit an adoption application.
