If you are looking for an affectionate, lovable, active senior husky, please consider volunteer-favorite Luna. Luna is joyful and interactive; she has a lot of love to give. Luna is 9 years old and loves her play time in the yard with her volunteers. But she really loves her walks. She is strong and active, and her ideal person would like to play with her in a fenced-in yard, and take her on walks.
Luna also needs an adopter who has the patience and time to train her to adapt to being in a home. In her nine years, she has only lived in a kennel (outdoors before FSSR). A husky-experienced adopter would be ideal. If you invest the time, energy, and love to help Luna learn to live in a home, you will be rewarded with a joyful, loving companion. She will also need to be trained to trust that her food won’t be taken away from her.
***If adopted, Luna will come with a six session training package to successfully transition to home life.***

Free Spirit Siberian Rescue cannot make any guarantee regarding the outcome of any dog being adopted out to household with cats or small animals. The owner assumes full responsibility for the dog’s behavior and, per the requirement of the adoption contract, will enroll the dog(s) in obedience classes to aid in the process.
