Luna's Story

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Food: Royal Canin Hydrolyzed
Medication: Monthly Flea, Tick or Heartworm Prevention

All hail Queen Luna... now accepting applications for her forever kingdom

Luna's journey into rescue wasn't exactly a fairytale start. She came in needing emergency care after everyone thought she may have eaten something she shouldn't... plot twist: it was actually a flare-up from IVDD. After rest and proper care, she bounced back into the sweetest, silliest, most playful little girl.

But Queen Luna wasn't done keeping us on our toes - she had another flare-up shortly after. And that's when we said, "not on our watch." She packed her bags and headed to Oklahoma for PLDA surgery, reducing her risk of future flare-ups to almost just about 4%. Talk about a glow-up.

Now? Luna is living her BEST life.
She is the undisputed Queen of Stuffies, a professional ball chaser, and a world-class snuggler. She loves other dogs, adores her humans, and gives her whole heart (and then some) to her people.

She's crate trained... but let's be honest - royalty doesn't prefer confinement. Luna would very much like to be your full-time shadow, snuggle buddy, and emotional support queen.

She pretty much rocks potty training like the royalty that she is... but may need time to adjust after the months of crate restriction to get into a true routine in a new home.

In her forever home, Luna is looking for someone who will shower her with all the love she missed out on and keep up with her playful spirit. Someone who understands her journey, cherishes her strength, and is ready for a loyal, loving companion by their side always.

Luna has fought hard for this second chance... now she's ready to spend it loving you.

Apply to adopt Queen Luna today - your throne is waiting.

***Adoption Process***
-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
