Luna 3540's Story
3/7/26. Welcome Luna – a 1-year-old, sweet, petite Doberman girl. She absolutely loves other dogs. Cats are unknown so far.

Luna ended up at the Lee County shelter as a stray, and although they had an owner on file, no one ever came for her. So today is a fresh start for this little girl. We’re going to make sure she finds a family that will never abandon her again.

She’ll be spayed soon and then she’ll be all ready for her furever home. Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
Foster Application Adoption Application
