Lulu's Story

Lulu is an owner surrender due to them going into a nursing home. She is 3.5 years old.

She previously lived with two other large dogs before being surrendered and did well. She was recently adopted and returned because she started being protective over her food when fed next to the other dog and they could not separate the two. Since being returned she has seemed to be more dog selective and prefers calm dogs to more rowdy or puppyish dogs.

She is calm for her breed, but she does still need someone who can give her more than just a few potty walks a day. She would do well in a home that hikes, does activities on the weekends or has a fenced in yard for her to run around in but may not be able to do a lot during the week.

She enjoys being pet and loves to get on the couch and snuggle. She has played politely with children 8 and up previously. She is very loving and is a leaner. She is housebroken and very very sweet.

She would prefer a home without cats.
