Luke's Story

This cute little boy with brilliant blue eyes is full of fun and ready to share it with you! He is a typical puppy.... loves to meet new people, loves to play with other dogs, loves his toys, loves to snuggle and loves to give kisses. He is one big love bug!<br/>Luke's foster mom says that he is always making them laugh. He keeps trying to sneak into their bed to sleep at night, may grab a sock from time to time hoping to make it a new toy, and loves to play with her other dogs. He is good in the car and is working on leash training, but loves to follow them around when outside and comes when he is called.<br/>Luke is about 7 months old and 35lbs. Double Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends we ask that you complete an application (which we will forward to you) or download one from our website. We also require a vet reference check and a home visit when possible. Some of our dogs require fenced in yards while others do not. If you are interested in a dog you must e-mail the contact on each dogs petfinder page. Important Information Pertaining to Each Dog A Dogs have received the following before being available for adoption: Routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming (Puppies  6 months or younger will not have their rabies as they are too young). Spay/Neuter: All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. Heartworm: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 mon
