As it came about, they did not have the time to care for her properly and she found herself in a kennel most of the time. This resulted in a lack of socialization, therefore Lucy does not know how to behave around dogs. In her present home, she sees the neighbors’ dogs from a distance. On some outings she seems scared and has negative reactions and other times, she does not mind them at all. She has some issues with leash reactivity but she has gotten better. I've had her for six months and I believe it will take someone who is firm but loving to care for her.

She has a very strong hunting instinct and a very stubborn streak to go with it.

An ideal home for Moomoo would be a place with a large fenced in yard.

She is a wonderful and loving dog that was raised with children. She's playful and loving and well behaved inside the home. Lucy would love a home with children and a place to romp & play. Anyone that might be interested please “beware”, this beautiful 90-pound girl thinks she is a lap dog.
