Lucy Hicks's Story

Lucy is a sweet, soulful older puppy with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit that shines brighter every day. Rescued during a harsh ice storm in Texas alongside her sister Sandy (also for adoption), Now safe and warm in a foster home, she's learning what it truly means to feel secure--and her affectionate nature is beginning to blossom.

Though a bit shy when meeting new people, Lucy warms up quickly and reveals her true self: a cuddly, loving girl who adores pets, hugs, and being close to her people. She's wonderfully well-mannered for her age--housetrained with a doggie door, comfortable in a crate, and doing great on leash walks with a harness.

Lucy gets along beautifully with children over five, other dogs, and even cats, making her a lovely addition to many types of homes. While her sister Sandy tends to take on the "bossy big sister" role, Lucy plays the part of the playful, slightly mischievous younger sibling--full of charm and personality.

This precious girl will thrive in a home where she can receive lots of love, and continue with her basic training as she grows into the amazing companion she's meant to be. With a little patience and a lot of heart, Lucy is sure to become a devoted and cherished member of the family lucky enough to call her their own.

Name: Lucy Hicks
Breed: Labrador Retriever Crossbreed (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)
Sex: Female
Age: 10 months as of 4/11/26
Weight: 40lbs as of 4/11/26
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date.
