LUCY<br/><br/>Meet Lucy! Shes a 3 year old black and tan bloodhound with eyes like honey and a personality thats just as sweet. <br/><br/>Lucy is considered a laid back and friendly dog. She gets along well with children, adults, and other dogs. She has not been tested with cats. <br/><br/>Lucy is potty trained, and has good recall (for a bloodhound). She will come back when her foster dad whistles. Lucy is not being crated at her foster home, and we dont know if she was crated previously. Like all bloodhounds, she is bound by her nose and if you leave food on the counter she will take it. <br/><br/>Shes been using a Gentle Leader leash on her walks and has been doing well. She walks well on a leash and with a pack, but cars and critters still excite her. She recovery quickly from them, and stays the course. <br/><br/>More great news about Lucy is that shes not food aggressive and she doesnt resource guard. Shes fed in the kitchen with 3 other dogs and does fine. Lucy does need eye drops to help<br/>her maintain her beautiful glow, but shes very good about getting them. <br/><br/>Lucys ideal home would be chicken free. We cant be 100% on cats, but her prey drive for chickens and critters gives us the impression that a kitty-free home may be best. Lucy enjoys the company of other dogs but could likely be okay as an only-dog too. What she needs is a family who loves her as much as she loves them. Her foster family confidently called her One of the best fosters weve ever had.
