Lucy*'s Story
<p> </p><br/><p style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">When I read the rescue evaluation on Lucy and its said "Failed" I went through the roof. So now I want you to know the end of the story. God is watching over what you and Scooters Pals do. Some things can't be explained any other way. Susan you and your staff are a blessing to this community.</span></p><br/><p style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">The animal shelter said Lucy failed. You rescued Lucy. Pam and I got a chance to work with her for just a very short week. A family comes into Scooters Pals office looking for a dog. Carol talks to them and calls me and says can you bring Lucy to the office. I take her down and the family falls head over heals in love with her. I delivered Lucy to them today and here is what only God can put together. We all played a role as His servants. Including all in the background that handle the paperwork and and support work. It takes a team. I can tell you God is watching over Scooters Pals.</span></p><br/><ul style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They own a three acre parcel.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">The house is un-real.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They have a fenced in back yard.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">The water dog they brought to the office knows more tricks than you can count.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They did all the training themselves.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They have an agility course in their back yard.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They are going to give Lucy a couple of weeks to get used to them and then start agility training. And not for show but because that is what the family likes to enjoy with their dogs.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">She will be sleeping on her new masters bed every night.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">They feed their dogs some of the most expensive food available.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">The dogs are never left alone. There is always one of the four at home.</span></li><br/><li style="margin-left: 15px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">And the water dog and Lucy were playing together by the time we had to leave her. </span></li><br/></ul><br/><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana; color: #0000ff;">So in two weeks Lucy went from fighting the world to survive and a shelter that deemed her a failure to a home where she will live like a queen forever and have everything she needs. We all played a role but God set the path. Susan, thank you for what you do and the organization you have put together.</span></div><br/><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"> </div><br/><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">There is only one other thing to add. Lucy transferred from us to them in a split second. It was almost like she knew that she was in her "home forever". When we left Lucy and her new family they were all playing in the back yard. It was like we were visitors only. And that is the way it should be. When we got home we did shed a tear of happiness. Lucy got to us. She was for us, and is going to be for her "home forever", a special dog. Thanks to all at Scooters Pals.</span></span></div><br/><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"> </span> </div><br/><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Jim (and Pam) </span></span></div><br/><p> </p><br/><p> </p><br/><p>Please use the contact at the bottom of the listing for more info about this dog.</p><br/><p>To fill out an online application go to http://scooterspals.org/htmls/application.html.</p><br/><p>For more information about Scooter's Pals go to: www.scooterspals.org.</p><br/><p> </p>
