Lucy's Story
Meet Lucy, your new chunky & cuddly best friend!

At 4 years old and about 85 pounds, Lucy is currently on a little wellness journey, but don't let that fool you, she is equal parts cozy couch potato and happy, wiggly girl. She is the biggest cuddlebug here and will lean into you like she's known you forever. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is a good butt scratch, and she will make sure you don't forget it.

Lucy has beautiful manners. She sits for treats and takes them gently, and she walks calmly on a leash without pulling. She can be a little shy when she first meets you, but give her a moment and you'll see just how soft and sweet she really is. Once she feels safe, she is all love.

She's also been doing well around other dogs in our care and has enjoyed running the fence and saying hello.

Lucy is the kind of dog who doesn't need chaos or constant activity. She just wants someone to love, a comfy place to land, and maybe a few extra butt scratches along the way.

As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.

To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
