Meet LUCY! This sweet girl was found abandoned after her "owner" moved away without her. A family member reached out to us, and she is now a part of our ARF family. She is adjusting well to her new "norm" and getting wonderful care at ARF, but what she really needs is to get out of the shelter and into a loving home with a family that she can call her own who will love her FOREVER. With that being said, Lucy would thrive in a calmer home with a family who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home and feel safe again. We were told that she had lived with children before we rescued her - a home with older dog savvy children may be best for her due to her need for a calmer home environment. She has been loving spending time with our volunteers and enjoying running around the large backyard at our rescue. She can most likely be ok with sharing a home with another canine companion, but we are unsure if she has ever been around cats. And she has the coolest mohawk ever! Please consider opening up your heart and your home to the special pup and give her a second chance at the life she deserves and apply to adopt her today!
