Meet Lucy
Lucy is a 1.5-year-old Pitty/Dalmation mix. She was found wandering the fields of the Yakima Valley in early December and has made remarkable progress since then. She is VERY smart and VERY eager to please.
After a few weeks at a board and train facility and a few weeks in her foster home, Lucy has come very far with her obedience training. She sits, stays, and lies down on command. Once an avid jumper, she quickly learned the rules and boundaries of her foster home.
She's kennel trained and waits at all doors until given the okay to enter or exit. She is house trained, spayed, and current on all her vaccines. She has a high prey drive (typical of her breed), and will chase cats, chickens, and squirrels. She needs to be the only pet in the house and will do best with older kids.
Lucy is extremely affectionate with her people, takes treats very gently, and does not have food aggression. She's a real snuggler with about a million kisses to give! She'll make a wonderful addition to an adoptive household that provides her consistency and structure.
