Lucy Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Lucy! About 3 years old, 50# Lucy is a big sweetheart with the best smile! She will greet you with wiggles and a big grin and she loves human attention. She plays really well with other dogs, both in doggy daycare & at dog parks. Lucy doesn't like to share food or resources with other dogs though, and for that reason, she will do best as the only dog in the home.

Lucy is house trained. She eats twice a day and takes an allergy pill once a day to avoid feeling itchy. More than just a cute face, Lucy is also smart and LOVES learning new tricks. So far, she knows both voice and hand signals for: Sit, Down, Stay, Wait, Sit Pretty, Shake, Come and most recently “Roll Over”.

Lucy is being fostered through a partnership Underdog has with Central Bark dog daycare. She is enjoying lots of daily interaction with other dogs and with caregivers, while getting plenty of exercise. We are so grateful to Central Bark for opening their doors to help save lives with Underdog!

**Please note: Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applying is the first step in our process.

** Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $300. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $375. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
