Meet Lucy!<br/>Lucy is a 1½-year-old Italian Greyhound/Black Lab mix with the perfect blend of smarts, sweetness, and silliness. Petite in size but full of life, this happy girl is always ready to make new friends, canine or human. She’s super smart, eager to please, and lights up the room with her joyful energy.<br/><br/>Lucy’s story began when she was found wandering the country roads near Valley Center, KS. A kind soul brought her to safety, checked her health, and made sure she was up to date on vaccinations. When her owners couldn’t be found, she came to us — and we couldn’t be happier to help her on her journey to a forever home.<br/><br/>From the start, Lucy has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs at the rescue. She even attends doggy daycare, where she plays with pups of all sizes. She loves people just as much and never misses a chance to soak up affection. With her bright mind and willingness to learn, she’ll thrive with continued training and become an amazing lifelong companion.<br/><br/>Lucy is the whole package: sweet, playful, loving, and oh-so-ready to be someone’s best friend.
