We are a local foster home based rescue.<br/><br/>Lucky is a fun little guy who makes friends wherever he goes. He really enjoys being with his people and would love a family that will include him in their plans whenever possible. Lucky is a champion cuddler and can usually be found lounging on the couch on top of a pile of blankets. He has great house manners and only barks to alert about strangers.<br/><br/>Lucky is having fun with the resident dog in his foster home. He would enjoy a home with a canine companion that shares the same respectful demeanor that Lucky possesses. Lucky is also living with a cat in his foster home and he just ignores him. He is a gentleman on the leash and expects his walks to be part of his daily routine. He is not a fan of the car yet but we think he'll welcome car rides after enough puppuccinos :) <br/><br/>Lucky recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. X-rays were done of hips and rear legs. It was found that he has arthritis and an old Ccl rupture that has healed. Due to his age and good mobility surgery is not warranted. Lucky has been prescribed joint supplements and anti-inflammatory drugs for comfort. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Lucky is 9 years old and weighs 23 pounds.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
