Lucky German Shepherd Dog Chesterfield, MO

Lucky is a young male German Shepherd who was rescued from a from a terrible situation with a back-yard-breeder. At that time he was exceedingly thin, covered in fleas and was so frightened he would not walk on leash. After coming into rescue Lucky had several surgeries to make corrective repairs to an injury sustained shortly after birth. His finder adopted him but due to a major life changing event Lucky was returned to rescue.

We estimate that Lucky is about 2 to 2.5 years old. His foster mom says that sweet is absolutely the best way to describe him. He is a moderate energy dog who is always happy to meet new people. Lucky is good with children and other dogs. He is living with a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua and does well with both dogs.

Lucky is house trained, and crate and kennel trained. He has an indoor kennel loves hanging out in it. In his foster home he has learned to climb stairs and walk politely on leash.

Lucky’s experience with cats is unknown.

Our Adoption Fees:

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $400

* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $350

* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:

(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $350 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
(2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
