Lucky's Story

Lucky is a young female red Shiba Inu who is being rehomed because her previous owners' busy work schedule prevents them from giving her sufficient time and companionship. She is currently in good health, fully vaccinated, and spayed.
In the house, Lucky balances a playful energy with the typical independence of her breed. She is capable of settling down and entertaining herself quietly without constant human interaction. She is highly food-motivated, especially by chicken breast, carrots, and broccoli, which has aided her training; she already reliably responds to commands for "sit" and "shake hands." Lucky enjoys playing fetch and consistently brings the ball back to her owner's hand. Because she is still young, she occasionally chews on shoes if they are left accessible, so keeping items put away is necessary. Regarding social dynamics, she has not had much exposure to other dogs and requires an adjustment period and patient introductions when meeting them.
Lucky is an intelligent, active young dog who thrives on engagement but does not demand constant attention. She is not a low-maintenance puppy who requires zero guidance, but she shows high responsiveness to structured routines.
The ideal home for Lucky is with an owner who has prior dog experience and enjoys the training process. A household that can provide consistent boundaries, patience, and a structured daily routine will suit her best.
She has a strong foundation and will develop into a reliable companion for an owner willing to invest the time.
