He is a Cairn Terrier mix with some wiry fur and big eyes. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in AL and we are thankful to have him with us where he can be loved and cared for and adopted into a comfortable home!<br/><br/>Luca has been with us for now for 4 weeks. Luca started out baby gated in the laundry room when we were away but quickly figured out how to jump the gate! For his safety and his furry house mates we have totally crate trained him! He goes in willingly and keeps it dry and clean overnight. <br/><br/>He is working very hard on potty training and is very food motivated. Luca does wear a belly band (diaper) in our home. He stands patiently while you put it on and leaves it alone throughout the day. <br/><br/>He loves to run around with my other dogs, if you throw a toy he is sure to go get it but only returns it 50% of the time as he much prefers the chase. The more time he spends in our home the more he enjoys his canine companions. He gets very excited about squeaky stuffed toys, he has yet to destroy one.<br/><br/> He takes treats gently from your hand, eats twice a day and chews bones. Has shown no signs of food aggression. <br/><br/>We have a fenced in backyard where he loves to run laps but when necessary he walks just fine with a harness and leash. <br/><br/>If I'm working around the house he is at my heels, going from room to room with me and the moment I sit he's waiting to get close and comfy in my lap.<br/><br/>He is the perfect combination of play and snuggle. He would be perfect for almost all home types.
