Low's Story

Low's world changed overnight

At just 10-11 months old, Low should be worrying about important puppy things-like finding the biggest stick in the yard, chasing his dog friends around the fence, and convincing kids to throw the ball one more time.

Instead, Low found himself at a shelter.

Not because he was a bad dog. Not because he wasn't loved.

Low lost his home when his owner lost theirs.

One day he had a family and a place to belong. The next, everything he knew was gone.

Now this 60-pound Am bull/pit bull mix puppy waits patiently for someone to give him another chance.

Despite having every reason to be confused, Low remains one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. His tail wags. He still wants to make new friends. He still believes every person he meets could be the one who takes him home.

Like any young dog, Low is full of energy and enthusiasm. he's still learning his leash manners and sometimes forgets just how big he's getting, but eager to learn and even more eager to please. He'd love a family that enjoys being active, whether that's running around the yard, playing with the kids, or having another playful dog to help him burn off some puppy energy.

low doesn't know why he lost his home. he only knows that he's ready for a new one.

A home where he can grow up. A home where he can play. A home where he never has to wonder if he'll be left behind again.

He's still just a puppy, and he's still waiting for his happy ending.
