She loves nothing more than laying her head on your lap and getting pets. While she enjoys toys, she can be a little rough with cheaper ones and tends to wreck them in a day or two.

Her favorite activity is playing fetch; she'll do so until exhaustion and still want more. Louna is very responsive to treats and knows commands like "sit," "paw," and "down" (with a pointed down gesture). We're working on "come," and she's already shown vast improvements, as well as "stay."

She also enjoys playing tug, although she sometimes has difficulty getting a good grip. On a leash, she walks extremely well and rarely pulls—unless squirrels are involved!

Louna would be a great fit for a moderately to highly active family or individual. She bonds quickly, especially when she receives affection. She would make a fantastic addition to any household, whether as a new dog parent’s first pet or as a companion alongside other pets.

Louna has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, & Heartworm tested, and additionally, Louna has been on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $750.00, which includes her health records!

You can help them out with these costs by heading to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/3463 and say it’s for Louna !

If you think you can provide Louna the loving home that she deserves, Please complete our adoption application at this link: https://www.animalert.ca/apply/dog-adoption

If you wish to learn more about Animalert, please visit our website at https://www.animalert.ca/

Due to the volume of emails, phone calls and messages Animalert receives, it is not always possible to respond to every application. Animalert Pet Adoptions's Adoption Policy
When a pet comes into one of our foster homes, we have our veterinarian assess its health, vaccinate it and spay/neuter it at the appropriate age. We then network, promote & advertise to find permanent guardians for all cats & dogs listed with us. We also arrange adoptions for guardians who, for a variety of reasons, can no longer keep their pets.
