Louie's Story

Meet Louie!

Louie is a handsome 6-year-old, 62-lb red tri boy with a full tail, goofy personality, and LOTS of love to give! Currently in Abingdon, VA, hes looking for an active home where he can get the exercise, attention, and enrichment he deserves.

Louie is housebroken, crate trained, well-mannered, and doesnt resource guard, counter surf, nip, or bite. He LOVES playing, especially with his favorite tire, and hes a big cuddle bug once playtime is over!

His enthusiastic play style means hed do best with a confident, playful canine companion—or as the only dog where he can soak up all the attention. He has also been around chickens and outdoor cats without concern.

Louie hasnt had much experience with regular walks, so leash skills are a work in progress. With structure, routine, and plenty of activity, this smart, energetic boy has so much potential!

His current family loves him but can no longer provide the time and individual attention he needs. Louie will be neutered soon and is catching up on veterinary care.

We think Louie would thrive with an active person or family who wants a goofy, affectionate, playful companion to share life with.

Interested in Louie? Approved ARMA adopters can contact their volunteer. For foster or foster-to-adopt, please apply at www.aussierescueofthemidatlantic.org

Transport is possible for foster to adopt.
