When Louie was rescued, he was heartbreakingly thin—just skin and bones. Thanks to good care and consistent nutrition, he has already gained 15 pounds and continues to blossom every day.<br/><br/>Louie does very well in his crate and truly thrives with structure and routine. He has been neutral when interacting with other dogs and can coexist calmly, though we always recommend thoughtful introductions. He has not yet been cat tested.<br/><br/>After everything he’s been through, Louie is learning how to simply be a carefree dog—and it’s a joy to watch. He loves playtime, especially supervised sessions tearing apart his favorite stuffies. It’s one of his happiest outlets and shows how far he’s come.<br/><br/>Louie is now fully recovered, healthy, and ready for his forever home.
