Louie's Story
Louie is a lovable, highly expressive 1-year-old neutered male French Bulldog looking for a home where he won't be left alone for long periods of time. This sweet boy is searching for someone who will appreciate his affectionate nature, embrace his talkative personality, and help him continue building confidence.

Louie thrives on companionship. Because of this, he struggles with significant separation anxiety and can become distressed when left alone. He would do best with an adopter who understands his needs, has the time and patience to help him feel secure, and can provide plenty of attention throughout the day. An ideal home would be one where someone is home most, if not all, of the time.

Louie is very vocal and isn't shy about letting you know how he's feeling. His outspoken personality and silly charm would make him a fun and entertaining companion for the right person. Louie does not do well with cats or other dogs and will likely need to be the only pet in the home. We are currently unsure how he does with other species of animals or children.

To schedule a meet-and-greet, please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1: Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2: Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
