Meet Louie!<br/><br/>Louie was surrendered to us with his brothers Huey and Dewy! Their owner was unable to continue to care for them and their mom. Dad ran off and was never found. Another rescue took the other four siblings and mom. Mom and dad were both cattle dogs.<br/><br/>Louie is a foster to adopt. That means you have the intent to adopt him once all of his medical is done. He has had two vaccines. In three weeks (week of 4/26-5/1) He will received his final vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella), neuter, and microchip insert. We can provide all necessary supplies until adoption is final. His fee is $400. <br/><br/>A little about Louie! He is a PUPPY! Puppies cry and bark whenever they feel like it. They are working on their potty training but they will need continued training. He is a puppy so those teeth and nails are razor sharp! Teaching him manners is a must. Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
