Louie's Story

Hi! My name is Louie. I am a 1.5 year old Yorkie / Pug mix, weighing in at 10lbs.

I am a total goofball. I am very active and love playing and wandering around. I’m very curious and up for any adventure. I was raised with kids and need to have some kiddos in my new home! I like cats now that I’ve met some in my foster home. I was scared of them at first but not anymore. I need to be an only dog inside my home because I do have resource guarding issues with my toys. I only guard them from dogs. I love playing with toys with my humans, tug and fetch are my fave! I love to play with dogs when no toys are around but inside my home I want to be the only dog so my toys can be all over!

I need an active home. I’m not a couch potato! I love riding in the car and going on walks. I’m really good at walking! Wandering around the backyard is so fun because there’s always so many smells. I would like a physically fenced in yard that way I can run around and be safe. I am crate trained and working on my potty training, so please be patient with me as I learn.

Louie is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If he sounds like a match for you, please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:

Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication

Louie’s adoption fee is $400.

***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue. We do not have a physical building that you can visit. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please complete an adoption application using the following URL:
Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication
We schedule private meet and greet appointments with approved adopters only.

We do not respond to the Pet-finder Inquiry emails, so if you click and say your interested in an animal we will not respond.
