Lottie's Story

Meet Lottie!

Adoption fee $500

Lottie and her two friends were surrendered by their family. The two boys went to one rescue and we took Lottie. She was covered in fleas, matted, and has lived her whole (3 years) outside! She is getting used to being in a nice cool home.

Lottie is very sweet but will need a family with patience. She is a little unsure at first but warms up once she settles in. If you are looking for a dog that is immediately comfortable or you feel an immediate connection with this is not your gal. She takes time and is unsure when she is at events and meets new people. She is an amazing dog once she gets past her fear of being out of the home environment.

Lottie is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and 4DX (tick/heartworm test) negative.

Lottie is approximately 3 years old and weighs 15 pounds.

To meet Lottie, please fill out the application https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAWP/Dog

Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
