Lorelei is a beautiful Catahoula/Aussie mix around 3 years old and weighing about 60 pounds. She’s an affectionate girl who loves being close to her people—especially if she can give you a hug or lean right into you for some extra love.<br/><br/>Lorelei is deaf, so she experiences the world a little differently. She can have an anxious energy at times and may startle more easily since she can’t hear what’s happening around her. Because of this, she’ll do best with a family who is patient, understanding, and willing to help her feel safe and secure.<br/><br/>So far, Lorelei seems to be dog friendly, although we’re still getting to know her and learning more about her preferences. We’re also unsure how she feels about children at this time. Because she is deaf and can be easily startled, we think a home with slightly older children who can understand that she cannot hear and know how to approach her respectfully would likely be the best fit.<br/><br/>Lorelei has so much love to give, and once she feels comfortable, she’s more than happy to show it with her signature hugs and leaning cuddles.
