LOONEY- Needs a foster/forever home! Boxer Mix Birmingham, MI

Gorgeous Looney is an 9 1/2 yr old Boxer mix. She is such a sweet girl!!! Looney loves belly rubs and giving our staff kisses. Looney needs a quiet home without a lot of activity. Looney had some lumps removed and the biopsies showed she has a very slow growing cancer. She is not a candidate for chemo. This does not slow Looney down whatsoever!! Looney is a very active girl. She would make a wonderful companion dog, not a family dog. Looney is ok with other dogs after a proper introduction. Unfortunately, we do not know how she is with cats. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Looney is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. If you are looking for an older girl with experience to be your companion, Looney is your girl!!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Looney's adoption fee is $300.
