Lolly's Story

Meet Lolly — the girl with the smile you’ll never forget. 💙
Lolly is one of the lucky survivors of a heartbreaking hoarding situation in Deep South Texas, where over 20 Huskies and German Shepherds were discovered living inside a home after their elderly owner passed away. With no local shelter available—and the nearest one only offering euthanasia on arrival—a compassionate rescue stepped in to save all 24 dogs from an unthinkable fate. Today, only five remain… and Lolly is still waiting for her chance to leave Texas and find the loving home she deserves.
Lolly is as sweet as they come. She’s affectionate, gentle, and absolutely full of personality. Her most unforgettable feature? Her adorably oversized tongue that’s always hanging out, giving her a constant goofy grin—and earning her the name “Lolly.” It’s impossible not to smile when you see her.
Because Lolly spent most of her life confined indoors with a large pack, she’s still learning what it means to just be a dog. Everything is new and exciting—grass under her paws, open space to run, toys, and one-on-one attention. She absolutely loves to run and play, and she’s been doing great with other dogs and children. She would likely do best in a home without cats or small animals unless introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
Lolly is also fully vetted—she is up-to-date on all her vaccines, spayed, and heartworm negative—so she’s healthy and ready to start her new life right away.
Lolly doesn’t just need a home—she needs someone willing to guide her, be patient with her, and show her the world she’s been missing. In return, she’ll give you unconditional love, endless laughs, and that one-of-a-kind smile every single day.
She’s one of the last five still waiting.
Could you be the one to give Lolly her happy ending? 🐾
