Lollie's Story
Lollie is a beautiful 1 yr old female Pyrenees/ snow lab mix - we are told she is around 70# of pure sweetness. She has been in two temporary foster homes so we do have some information on her. She is good with almost all the dogs she has met and/or lived with and is very playful with them (the exception was a German Shepherd). A fenced yard (5 or 6 ft high) is a requirement for adoption, and another playful dog would be ideal in her new home. Lollie is good with cats but will chase them if they run - not aggressively, just playfully. She hasn't been around kids, but she has a gentle nature and enjoys attention - we expect she would be a good match with an older, respectful child or would thrive in a quiet adult home. She lacks confidence meeting new people - she is not a dog for the dog park or a busy home with a lot of activity. It takes a little time to warm up to people (and trust them) but once she is comfortable with her surroundings, she is an affectionate, friendly girl. Seems a bit more comfortable around women than men. Lollie doesn't know any commands and is learning her new name so she doesn't come when called yet- she really should have a secure fenced yard. She can be left loose when she is home alone, but she is a young dog so if she hasn't had a lot of play time to tire her out before being left, she may find her own entertainment. She can be kenneled and may bark when she is first put inside it, but we recommend crating her if left for a length of time. Of course, that's not her favorite thing. In her foster home, she is permitted up on furniture and she takes advantage of that. Rides well in the car - standing up most of the time. She sleeps on her dog bed or in the bedroom with her foster family. Fully housebroken. Is a tall girl that can countersurf.

Lollie has been spayed and is current on distemper and rabies vaccinations. Tested heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $350. Please call 651-771-5662 if you are interested in adopting her.
