I turned 1 on August 24th, 2025 and weigh 16 pounds. I need a new home because my owner underwent a procedure that left her physically unable to care for me. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE.<br/><br/>Though I have a submissive nature, I am an active, happy, playful 1 year old girl! My foster mom says she can tell I was well cared for. I go up and down steps and do my job outside at my foster house, but I will definitely need training on the routine in a new environment and on signaling my need to go out.<br/><br/>I come when called, respect older dogs’ boundaries and love curling up on a lap for a nap. I even do well in my crate, and sometimes go in there on my own to recharge with a nap.<br/><br/>I love playtime! Stuffies, squeaky balls & Nylabones are the best!<br/>I have some growing up to do yet, but I listen and want to please.<br/>I get along with people and other dogs.<br/>I would rather not get my nails trimmed, but will ultimately let you<br/>I need a playmate (human or dog) since I’m still young and energetic.<br/><br/>Lola needs a family that understands she’s still a pup with a short attention span and needs training. She knows ‘sit’ so we’ve been working on that. She’s a good, sweet girl who’s very loving and bright. She shows every sign of being a wonderful dog once fully trained.<br/><br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? Working on it<br/>Leash-trained? Working on it<br/>Rides well in car? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
