Lola's Story

Lola came to us as an owner surrender on 5-23-26 due to moving and inability to care for anymore.
Lola is 7 and a half years old and a very good, sweet girl.
She is housebroken, and lived with kids, cats and dogs previously and did well with everything. She even did well with the hamsters!
With dogs she does seem to like calmer dogs and smaller dogs better.
She is a little shy meeting strangers but warms up quickly. She does slightly better with females over males. She knows paw, sit, stay, speak, down, roll over and high five. She loves stuffie toys.

Montgomery County SPCA's Adoption Policy
At the Montgomery County SPCA, we are dedicated to finding responsible, forever homes for all the pets in our care. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
